The Management of Degree Acquisition

The procedural order of obtaining a Ph.D. degree [Philosophiae Doctor] has been registered in a detailed rules-and-regulations description of BDTDSZ; DSLCS wishes to comply with this in every respect.

Additions:

  1. Regarding foreign language proficiency, DSLCS conforms to the language requirements determined in BDTDSZ with the reservation that the second language cannot be Esperanto or a small language that is unlikely to support the applicant’s intention to use it as a tool of research.
  2. In the case of modern philological dissertation topics the doctoral student, after consulting with the dissertation supervisor, is to decide whether the dissertation should be written in the given working language or in Hungarian.
  3. Upon the submission of the dissertation, the electronic documents specified in the DSZ will be accepted as determined in Appendix [2].
